Terms of Service

One love one voice NC Pop up choir

Last updated: July 2025

General Terms

One Love One Voice NC is a North Carolina-based pop-up choir experience founded by Lauren Leigh Henry in 2025 and operates under the umbrella of her business, Luminary Endeavors, LLC. All associated content, events, branding, and communications fall under this legal and creative structure.

By using our website, signing up for a workshop, or attending one of our events, you're agreeing to these terms of service.

Please read them carefully (or at least skim them while sipping tea).

1. We are human.

This website and our events are lovingly managed by humans—no bots, no legalese-heavy runarounds. That means you might occasionally come across a typo, outdated info, or something we didn’t realize was unclear. If so, thanks in advance for your patience—and feel free to email us at oneloveonevoicenc@gmail.com so we can fix it.

1. Newsletter vs Event Registration

Signing up for our newsletter does not register you for any event. Each event has its own separate registration link, which must be completed to secure your spot.

2. Event Spaces & Collaborators

We often collaborate with local businesses to use their beautiful spaces for events. Each of these spaces may have their own guidelines (shoes off, sign a waiver, park out back, etc.). We require all participants to respect our hosts’ rules while on-site.

Also note: Some registration links may come from our partner hosts. If so, your registration info might go through their system and become part of their contact list. We only work with partners we trust, but you’ll need to check out the their Privacy Policy to see how they use your information. More on this in our Privacy Policy.

3. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

We know life happens, and we try our best to be understanding. That said, our policies help us honor the time, space, and energy required to create each gathering.

Participant cancellations: Cancellations made within 24 hours of an event are not eligible for refunds. Outside of that window, please reach out and we’ll do our best to work with you.

If we cancel or reschedule: If One Love One Voice NC needs to cancel or reschedule an event, we’ll notify all registered participants via email. Your ticket will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. If you’re unable to attend the new date, simply reach out to us and we’ll happily issue a full refund.

We deeply value your time and commitment—and appreciate you valuing ours in return.

4. Age Policy

Our events are intended for adults. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must have a signed consent and waiver form to participate.

5. Substance Policy

We do not tolerate drugs, alcohol, or consciousness-altering substances at any One Love One Voice NC event. Showing up under the influence is grounds for:

  • Immediate removal from the group

  • Notification of appropriate authorities if necessary

  • Permanent banning from future events

We’re all about natural highs through harmony, community, and music.

6. Originality & Community Acknowledgment

We know we’re not the only ones who’ve dreamed up a pop-up choir. We’re inspired by other amazing groups out there—like Gaia Music Collective (our founder is a big admirer) and others doing soulful, spontaneous music gatherings. While One Love One Voice NC is our original creation, we fully honor the wider movement we’re part of. Our goal is to build something authentic, rooted in our community, and aligned with our values—not to copy, compete with, or claim ownership over ideas that are meant to be shared and celebrated.

Sometimes, we may choose to sing the same or similar songs as other groups (because some music is just THAT good). When we do, we make sure all musical arrangements are either:

  • Purchased or licensed legally, or

  • Arranged originally by our facilitator or a guest composer.

Any sheet music we provide is for fun, educational and rehearsal purposes only, including arrangements, where we are sure to include any original copyright notices on the music and lyrics.  We do not sell our music or charge for commercial performances.  Our events are intended to be a fun, lighthearted choir workshop for the singers involved, not a concert for the public.

If you ever have questions about what we're creating, feel free to reach out to us at oneloveonevoicenc@gmail.com. We’re here for collaboration, not competition.

7. Intellectual Property & Content Use

Unless otherwise stated, all content—including logos, branding, event concepts, visual designs, images, video footage, written material, and original musical arrangements—is the intellectual property of Luminary Endeavors, LLC. These materials may not be used, copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

We welcome collaboration and are always open to sharing our work in aligned ways. If you’d like to feature or reference something from One Love One Voice NC, please contact us first to request permission. We ask that proper credit and consent be honored when referencing or reposting our work.
